Our way of working is based on the one project, one engineer principle. By following this principle one engineer has the technical lead of the project and responsible for the success of the project. This focusses the communication.

We coop with the given complexity of the industrial automation projects by following our 7 steps process.

Our 7 Steps Process

  1. 1. Comprehensive Inventory Draw Up

    Prior to drawing up a quotation, we always intent to visit your location for an extensive inventory of the project. In addition to discussions with the users (production personal/technical service) about the wishes and requirements, we are interested in visiting the actual production line. This gives us a better picture of your production process with the used systems. With this knowledge we can make a fitting functional design.

  2. 2. Functional Design

    Based on the inventory, we make a concise functional design that forms the basis for the quotation. Drafting a functional design at this early stage helps us to determine a customized price and avoids surprises during/after commissioning.

  3. 3. Build of a Simulation

    Standard in our process we set up a simulation of the production line. This gives us the possibility to test the application software which we recommend when complex dependent modules are used. Doing so, frequently occurring errors are solved which normally pop up during commissioning.

  4. 4. Development Application Software

    The application software is developed in-house. The use of system theory enables the engineer to divide a complex project into manageable subprojects. If required colleagues can solve these subprojects under supervision of the engineer in lead to ensure a faster completion of the project.

  5. 5. Testing

    The functions and coherence of the software modules is tested in-house on real hardware and/or the simulation during the development phase. This results in a cyclic development process were surprises during commissioning are prevented.

  6. 6. Commissioning

    As a result of the meticulous and structured way of working, the engineer is fully prepared to commission the software with minimal disruption to the production process. The van Daal engineer continues until his application software works!

  7. 7. Aftercare

    We value providing aftercare. This can be done in the shape of instructing your production staff or technical service, as well as troubleshooting.
    All our engineers are trained with the same methodology and understand each other's software. In the event of the absence of "your" engineer van Daal engineering is still able to help you quickly.
